š„ Oysters: Hands down, the best oysters I've ever had in the US! They were so buttery and sweet, it felt like I was eating sugar. Absolutely divine!
š² Cioppino: Unfortunately, the cioppino was a letdown. The mussels and clams had a strong fishy smell, and the plating wasn't great either.
š Jambalaya: This dish was also disappointing. It felt more like seafood and rice in a tomato-flavored soup rather than the jambalaya I'm used to.
Despite the cioppino and jambalaya, the oysters alone made the visit worthwhile. They were truly extraordinary, earning The Oyster Bar 1 FOODING sticker from me. If you're in South Lake Tahoe and craving oysters, this is the place to be!
